The idea here is to cram as much amplifier into a lightweight, design as possible without unwanted feedback. The "Interstice" does the job despite the challenges.
The first one is the decision to place the speaker of the amp behind the hand of the player. This introduces a conflict with the ideal placement of the beam which caries the sum of the tension on all of the strings. This was solved by moving the beam behind the speaker and right through the center of the amplifier.
The next problem to solve was the pick-up placement. If the pickup is too close to the speaker it's gooing to feedback before you turn it as loud as you want to go. So I located a 3011 ProMag XM Single Coil Acoustic Sound Hole Pickup mounted behind the fretboard for clearance from the speaker.
To fit a PCB this large inside of a lighter enclosure, I decided to re-use an old Harmony PowerPal that had already been stripped of its amp and speaker, re-locating the panel onto the back.

It's a collection of parts that intersect on a new being. Cutting and lamination, adding and subtracting so that more can. be added.
Then, there is the refining process. I'm not sure that I have finished cutting . . .
out of many, one.
E Pluribus Unum was once the motto of the United States of America and references the fact that the cohesive single nation was formed as the result of the thirteen smaller colonies joining together.
