The question is:
What could it BECOME?
THE GARAGE
Some guitars need a little more Rubÿtone.
A place in my world where guitars wait.
Not because they failed, and not necessarily because I stopped liking the idea. Sometimes another project took priority. Sometimes a better solution appeared. Maybe the pickup, bridge, amplifier, or some other part wasn’t right. And sometimes I simply knew the guitar wasn’t finished yet.
That’s what the Garage is.
These are projects I’ve already invested time, thought, materials and craftsmanship into. Some are nearly done; others need considerably more work. But each still has something worth developing.
The Garage lets you decide what happens next with these ideas.
NOT QUITE FINISHED...
IS NOT THE SAME AS NOT WORTH FINISHING
A Rubÿtone guitar doesn’t arrive at the Garage in perfect condition.

HAVE TO TAKE IT FROM HERE
These aren’t DIY kits with unfinished parts and instructions. You get a Rubÿtone project that’s already begun. I’ll show you what’s been done, what’s left, and my vision for it. Then we figure out the rest together—whether you want it finished as imagined, see a new direction, or want something changed or left as is.
The unfinished part is not a problem to solve. It’s an opportunity to make the guitar better.
THE GARAGE RULE
TWO — LET’S TALK ABOUT IT
CURRENTLY in the Garage
Projects waiting for their next direction—some need a part, some need a rethink, and some simply got pushed aside by the next idea.
WHAT MIGHT STILL BE NEEDED?
Every Garage guitar is different, which could mean:
A better pickup. A different pickup. Or finally choosing the right one.
Replacing something temporary, experimental, or no longer seems right.
Reworking controls, switching, wiring, or components to make the guitar do what it should.
Sometimes the amp that started the project isn’t the amp that should finish it.
Fitting, filing, leveling, adjusting, and all the things that make a guitar play properly.
Sanding, polishing, refinishing, cleaning up details, or simply giving the guitar the last bit of visual attention it deserves.
The point is not to follow a predetermined recipe.
The point is to finish this guitar correctly.
NOTHING HERE IS FINISHED YET
There are always guitars in the Garage.
Each one is different.
Each one has a history.
And each one has somewhere it wants to go.
Maybe you’ve just found it.

Ready For You
Upon receiving my Rubytone guitar, I was blown away by the attention to detail and the quality of craftsmanship. The sound was rich and full, with the built-in amp delivering impressive tones that exceeded my expectations. It felt like an extension of myself, perfectly tailored to my playing style. This guitar is not just an instrument; it's a work of art that embodies my musical journey. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this studio to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind guitar experience that combines personal expression with exceptional craftsmanship.

Guitarist
I stumbled upon a street performer who captivated me with his soulful melodies played on a unique guitar. The instrument in question was a Rubytone built-in-amp guitar, a striking blend of a Telecaster and a whiskey barrel with the elegance of a viola. Its rich tones resonated beautifully, drawing me in and making it impossible to walk past without stopping to listen. The craftsmanship was evident, with its warm wood finish and intricate details that hinted at its exceptional sound quality.

Bassist
The shell of the bass, ingeniously repurposed from an omelette maker, houses the NU>X Mighty Lite BT circuit and speaker. This clever integration not only adds a quirky aesthetic but also enhances its portability and functionality. The sound quality was surprisingly impressive for a guitar of such unconventional origins, with a clear tone that resonated beautifully in the open air. It’s a testament to the innovative spirit behind the Rubytone design.

Bassist
What truly struck me was the collaborative spirit behind the creation of this bass guitar. During our conversation, I mentioned an old carpenter level from my grandfather's tool collection, and to my surprise, the artist suggested using it as the main beam for the project. This personal touch not only added sentimental value but also highlighted the guitar's one-of-a-kind nature. It felt like I was contributing to a piece of art that would carry a story of its own.
