When I was laying this out initially, I did not appreciate how good the Blackstar (and others) sounds when it is inside its ported cabinet.

Simple controls on the front

25.5" scale Jazzmaster® type bolt-neck design. I scored it on eBay. -

Aged wine barrel stave. -
Body
15" viola Solid wood, carved tone plate, and backplate. -

I made a floating bridge out of a Tune-o-matic® -

Amplifier
3W mini combo with emulated tape delay, one 3″ speaker.
